Mania
The Mania Series explores the charged space where emotion, memory, and instinct collide. These paintings arise from moments of heightened intensity, where thought accelerates and the mind becomes both builder and breaker of its own landscape. Sweeping arcs, fractured lines, and flashes of raw color reveal the cyclical nature of the manic state. Patterns appear and collapse, spirals return, and sudden intrusions of red or yellow ignite the surface like sparks of revelation. Mania is not a portrait of disorder. It is a study of intensity, a look at the point where the psyche opens and shows its inner architecture. These works capture the mind in motion, the self uncontained, and the threshold where chaos becomes creation.
